Sizing and feasibility study
The implementation of a rainwater or gray water recycling installation requires the analysis of multiple parameters concerning the resource, the uses, and the organization of the existing buildings and networks which is the subject of analysis. a sizing and feasibility study.
We suggest that you collect and analyze all of these elements, in order to estimate as precisely as possible the opportunity to set up such an installation on your site, both from a technical and financial point of view.
Familiarization with the existing elements on the sites
- Ground plan and consolidation plan (if modification of buildings and networks).
- The environmental objectives set for these buildings.
- Any site development projects and maintenance work likely to impact the current facilities
Study of rainwater resources of roofs.
Analysis of daily rainfall over 15 0 20 years allowing the definition of a typical year.
Accounting for potential roof surfaces.
Study and costing of works
To be carried out jointly for the implementation of the system (and possible variants)
According to the different lots (VRD, plumbing, electricity)
Study of the uses of rainwater from recycled roofs:
Meeting with people likely to provide all the details necessary for the evaluation of potential uses in recycled water (qualitative and quantitative):
- On site (watering, toilets, surface cleaning)
- Fire reserve
Evaluation of the following different rainwater uses:
- Frequency, types and techniques of uses of rainwater on the site.
- Other prospects for use depending on regulatory changes.
Organization and geographical cohesion of the buildings in order to rationalize and optimize the storage and the technical water distribution network.
Study of existing EP networks.
Analysis of the organization of existing networks.
Consideration of specific discharge constraints.
Synthesis of resources / uses
Evaluation of the ideal storage volume, in order to best meet the supply objectives.
Determination of a financial envelope for the equipment to be implemented
Study and costing of works
The different data used for the sizing calculation.
A curve determining the savings in drinking water achieved, depending on the volume of the chosen retention.
The share of the origin of the technical water used -drinking water / rainwater- (per fortnight, in percentage and in value).
The share between the captured rainwater used, and the rainwater rejected EP network water.
The annual variations in the level of the cistern (based on the volume of the cistern which seems to us the most judicious.
One or more installation principle diagrams adapted to the defined projects.
A CCTP detailing by lot (VRD, plumbing, electricity) the different implementations and put on hold
The global forecast budget detailed by item until the start of the system.
Presentation and delivery of documents, comments on installation opportunities, and the key points for a good implementation, with the people associated with the project
